Dear Simon,
I heard that Creative Clusters is interested in projects in the field of regeneration. I have been involved in a ground breaking project in Brazil and I believe I have a compelling contribution to make to policy in the arts. I would be delighted to share my knowledge and experience with creative industry development experts across the globe. I would like to present a project with the theme of - Cultural Value and Economic Value. But before we go any further I must submit a contract which lays my terms when working anywhere in the world. It has been drafted during The Regeneration of Art Project.
Here follows the terms of my contract .
The Regeneration of Art: A Ground breaking Strategy
A few very important points about the art regeneration project. There are no copyrights to the project. It means that nobody is the author. That implies that no organisation/individual or any of its sponsors can use their corporate logo when the regeneration project is exhibited, that includes lectures, seminars and conferences since it would breach the contract.
Thus, if any organisation/individual /space or any of its sponsors were to use their corporate logo in association with the regeneration project, that would imply that this organisation/individual/space were the "author" of the regeneration project, claiming credits and legal rights over it.
Therefore an organisation/individual/space or any of its sponsors can make the project's data available exclusively for cultural purposes in the media, press providing nobody uses their corporate logo or any of their sponsor's corporate logos to do so. At the same time the media and press cannot use their corporate logos or any of their sponsor's corporate logos when promoting the regeneration project for the reasons stated above. An organisation/individual or any of their sponsors can make the details of the regeneration project available for catalogues and for exhibition text information, providing that these catalogues and entries do not contain their corporate logo or any of their sponsor's corporate logos. The regeneration project can be made available on the Internet,in the press and electronic media for promotion of events and exhibitions, providing no corporate logo or any sponsor's corporate logos are used to do so. Finally the regeneration project can be exhibited publicly providing the corporate logo of the space or any of their sponsor's corporate logos not be present in the exhibition space, as well as the facade of the space.
Further I would like to emphasise that the regeneration project is always distributed freely. It is not sold and cannot be presented where fees are charged . The regeneration project cannot be exhibited in spaces that aim towards the commercialisation of the concepts/objects presented.
The regeneration project can be freely reproduced, adapted even without mentioning the source providing no profit is earned or corporate image promoted from doing so.
If you agree please sign and send it back to me.
